7/ Dr. David Unwin - Dr Ben Bikman

We are all trapped, unless we can find a different way to live our modern lives.

Dr David Unwin, practiced the best medicine he knew, for 26 years. What he "knew," was what he had been taught, the NICE Protocols that UK GP's are required to follow. Yet the outcome he was looking for, healthy patients, was missing.

During this 30 year span there was an eight fold increase in the number of people with Type II Diabetes. In the video below, Dr Unwin, found out how to be a better doctor, because he listened to one of his patients. She was the patient who wasn't taking her medication.

Not only did she reverse her own Type II Diabetes, but she also helped her husband to do the same. So what did she do, and how did she discover that?

44 minutes.

Dr David Unwin talks to Dr Bret Scher at DietDoctor.com
Dr. Unwin was on the verge of retiring as a general practice physician in the UK. Then he found the power of low-carb nutrition and helped hundreds of patients in ways he never thought possible! As a result, he won the prestigious NHS Innovator of the Year award and was named one of the top ten most influential GP's in the UK.

Sorry about the length of this video. It's worth the time.
