The Medical System

In our modern society, we tend to confuse activities that create health, with activities that resolve sickness. The medical system at it's best is wonderful, but it doesn't create good health. You also understand that the medical system doesn't have the capacity treat everyone who presents with health problems.

There is a different approach, a personalised approach, that begins with YOU as the source of your own better health plan.

The Role of Health Coaching

Health Coaches are NOT trained as medical specialists. Health Coaches are trained to use the household kitchen, your bedroom, the local park, the gym, clubs and social groups, the work you do, or family relationships to build better health. Health Coaches are trained to help you understand the foundations of good health, and to build a plan for your own improved health.

There are hundreds of Health Coaches being trained, and after basic training they need to do many hours of practical health coaching before they are recognised as professionals.

Open Future Health is in touch with many trainees, and you can usually get Free Health Coaching if that's what you need. Your own doctor may also employ a Health Coach who may be available to you.
