Evolving Food Pyramids – PDF download (His 48 page Book)
There is also a Kindle Edition
Dr Darag Rennie explains how we went so wrong and what to look out for so you can determine what are the optimal levels of carbohydrate, fat and protein for you. His aim is to help you clarify how to approach this in a way that you will be more likely to get the results you are looking for and put you in the driver's seat of that process.
This book is a condensation of the key points he has learned in the past 10 years of exploring paleo, ketogenic & carnivore eating following 35 years as a whole food vegetarian which included 10 years of wheat free vegan eating. A life long struggle with weight along with developing inflammatory & metabolic disease and cancer in his 50's were the inspiration behind the shift for him.
There is also a long illustrated lecture in several parts, based on the book, on YouTube here. This is a quietly presented statement that is easy to listen too.

Notes by Darag:
At one point I mention 20 grams of fat in here. I trust you'll know I meant 20 grams of CHO or carbohydrate.
The difference between Total and Net Carbs?
Total is all carbs including Fibre. Fibre is a non digestible carbohydrate. For some people their gut microbiota can convert some fibre to glucose.
Net Carbs is the Total Carb figure minus the Fibre carbs.
A workable strategy is to try Net carbs under 20 first. If that works great. If it doesn’t the next step is to work with Total grams under 20. If that doesn't work it’s about working with a Total of 10 or less.
Let’s know what your sweet spot is when you find it.
