Creating trusted connections between people that make new learning and innovation possible.

The Company
In November 2007, Open Future Limited was the idea and the dream of one person.  In January 2008 over 100 people have contributed to the site.  You are invited to share that dream wherever you live in the world, localas a customer, or as a localbusiness associate.  If the business is to grow we need seven things that Open Future needs from other people. These may be things that you can provide.  Here's a list.

1)  Many External Links pointing to this site
You will see that many pages on this site have external links to people we think are doing good work.  If you think any of the pages in this site represent good work and you can provide an outward link from your blog or web site, it all helps.  When I first began to develop web sites, before search engines, the entire web was built like that.  That's why they call it a web.  Search engines are TOO powerful.  Quietly do what you can to build a web people can "surf" again. (Let us know, we will try to return the favour.) These little arrows are useful. localLocal FileExternal File

2)  Take the Message to the CEO and Company Directors
It's quite apparent that all around the world the people who are currently "our leaders" are the last to get the message about how social networking is changing the world.  Social networks change what people are learning and who they see as authoritative sources for new information.  Social networks give people access to new mentors and partners and help-mates.   Social networks encourage you to develop you OWN voice, a very radical idea indeed.   Open Future Limited is a safe place for the CEO to learn about that.

3) We want to build a Strong International Training Curriculum
We need to bring together the best minds and the strongest ideas to build a training system that adds real value to people's lives.  We seek to be a resource source for the best ideas.  We don't pretend to have those ideas, they are widely distributed.

4) Training Providers in all major cities
It's important to spread the idea that trained users of Social Networks will be more successful.  Together with an agreed curriculum we need to find and support the best qualified trainers, and help them to be effective leaders.  We can help them develop their own businesses.  localYou can register your training courses with us here.

5) Versions of this web site in many languages
English as a default language on the Internet, is not satisfactory.  If Open Future Limited has good ideas and a sound programme, that's true in any language.  It may also be useful to register a domain in your country.  If you see an opportunity for yourself there, localplease come forward.

6) Programmes of Ongoing Support
A business offering a training programme about social networking is on it's own a poor business idea  People need ongoing support so that they can learn effectively.  We will develop that support in many ways.  Think of developing an excellent learning and coaching system for business and professional purposes.

7) A Strong Central Business Group that owns the Brand
We expect to gather together the best people and package and market the very best ideas.  We'll start with volunteers, but we are looking to form business partnerships.  We expect to be able to give the businesses a strong identity and commercial protection by licensing and branding.

Development Forums
We have a public development forum on CollectiveX.  We'll see how that grows.  Certain participants will also be invited to a more private forum where we are looking more seriously at developing the business.  Spinning off that localmay be several business units, connected but locally owned, one of those is perhaps your own business.
